Workshop on Lab View
The workshop began with an appreciation of integration of hardware with software @ tomorrows technology and controls. Mr Amey Munda, the key speaker exemplified the various options the Virtual Instrument Engineering workbench (VIEW) presents to each of Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, etc Engineers and researchers. He illustrated as to how the programming focus was substituted with ease from coding to object orientation. He illustrated the usefulness citing examples from both the social and advanture point of view.
Earlier Prof P Thareja, Dean Faculty of Engineering & Technology, reiterated the important role the engineers of tomorrow will have to double up to. Citing both the challenges and the prospects he called upon the teachers and students experiment with such cost effective technologies as enabled by LabView.
The workshop in two sessions was followed up with a good interaction and ideation.
Professor Sudhakar Sharma, Professor Emeritus gave away the momonetos to speakers including Mr Ranjan Sharma of AI Instruments, Pune.
