Recycle Mania “Creativity out of waste Competition”
21-03-2018Faculty of Hospitality at GNA University organized Recycle Mania-2 ‘Creativity out of Waste’ “Waste of Plenty is the resource of scarcity” to spread eco-awareness and encourage recycling and reusing of daily life. 
More than 30 teams from Faculty of Hospitality participated in the
event. Students exhibited a lot of creativity and imagination which gave
judges a tough time selecting the best out of the waste.
Prof.
Dr. VK Rattan Vice Chancellor of GNA University graced the event and
motivated the students to follows 3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. He
told this is the dire need of the present time to preserve and conserve
our mother nature.

Bhutia Executive Housekeeper from Hotel Cabana Jalandhar was the Guest
of Honour for this event.
S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra congratulated the
efforts of the Hospitality team and wished them to keep unleashing such
creativity among other faculties as well.
Mr. Varinder Singh Rana,
Deputy Dean Faculty of Hospitality appreciated the efforts of
Housekeeping team for organizing such kind of events which help to
instill in the habit of making use of waste material to create something
new among the students.
