M.Tech. ECE Wireless Communication (Part Time)

Electronics and Communication Engineering is an emerging field from last few decades and in future also. All of the applications which make our life easier and enjoyable such as Television, Radio, Computers, Mobiles etc. are designed and developed by Electronics and Communication Engineers. Opens up great career prospects for the students. Electronic communications engineers conceptualize, design, test and oversee the manufacturing of communications and broadcast systems. They mainly work to integrate electronics and communications into any system they develop. The students after completion of the degree can easily avail job opportunities in manufacturing industries and service organizations such as broadcasting, consulting, data communication, entertainment, research and development, defense and system support.

Master's degree programs in electronics engineering allow students to concentrate on communication field and signal processing field. The core curriculum includes communications-specific classes such as statistical and digital signal processing and digital image processing.

The opportunities are galore for electronics and communication engineers as they are employed in variety of sectors such as Indian Telephone Industries, BSNL, Bosch, Texas Instruments, Intel, Connect Broadband, Development Centers in various States, Defense, NPL, A.I.R, Posts and Telegraph Department, Railways, Bharat Electronics Limited, D.R.D.O, Telecommunication, Software Engineering/IT, Power sector, Hardware Manufacturing, Home Appliance, VLSI design, Television Industry and Research & Development, Wipro, VLSI, QUALCOMM, IBM, ISRO, and DRDO Labs are hiring Electronics and Communications engineers. Some candidates choose to work for software companies such as Infosys, Microsoft, Samsung, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), SAP, Nokia Siemens, and IGATE etc.

At GNA University our students work on :

  • MATLAB (Digital Signal Processing Toolbox) based Projects.
  • Arduino and Robotics based Projects.
  • PLC, Python, Embedded System based Projects.

Program Highlights

  • Post Graduate students have worked in collaboration with IIT Delhi, Videocon Connect Broadband firms to carry out their research activities.
  • Students get benefit from guest lectures on the latest innovations in both established and emerging fields.
  • Students get exposure in many countries based on their research works and contribution in research papers of reputed journals at International Conferences.
  • An open access and multidisciplinary journal named GJMT (GNA Journal of Management & Technology) provide a research platform and tool for research scholars.
  • Workshops, Industrial Visits and Seminars are conducted to enrich the students with industry related technical knowledge and hands on experience.
