Dean, Faculty of Engineering Design and Automation.
He is a versatile personality with determination, hardworking& dynamic attributes. He is a well-acceptedinnovative Team leader in the field of CAD/CAM. He is Proficient in analyzing dynamic trend in the field of Technical & management skill to provide critical inputs to students tostrengthen their Knowledge base.
Under his pioneering leadership, GNA Design Excellencereceived the Best PTC authorized training center In North India byPTC University (U.S.A) and outstanding use of new Technology from Education Minister Namibia and Bangladesh by WEC and Best ATC performing Award from PTC University USA.
After completing his Diploma, B.Tech and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, he completedhis Post Diploma in CAD/CAM from Indo-Danish project under Denmark Govt. (Europe) and got third position at national level.During this he visited National Thermal Power Cooperation (NTPC) for Energy development, National Aluminum Company Limited (NALCO) for material technology and Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL) for modern manufacturing
Mr. Tripathy has more than 19 years of Industrial and Teaching experience in Mechanical Engineering and Automation Systems. He is providing Trainings on CAD/CAM Software’s like Pro/E, Creo Elements/Pro, Creo, NX, IDEAS, CATIA, and AutoCAD. He is certified Trainerin Basic and Advanced Design in Creo Elements/Pro 5.0 and Creofrom PTC University USA. He is also certified Trainer (Creo for Design Engineer) under Pearson Vue Certification.
He has completed training on Pro/E surface modeling from PD solutions Penang (MALAYSIA). He completed a teacher training program “Focus on Learning” at St. Lawrence College (CANADA).
He wasinvited by Beijing guidance view consultancy (CHINA)to refine teaching methodology for engineer team and technologies require for 21st century engineers. He also invited by ALGONQUIN COLLEGE OTTAWA (CANADA) for an education survey on advance technologies like CAD, CAM and CAE. He has invited by Doshn Infra Core for SIMTOS South Korea for getting knowledge on modern tools of die and mold manufacturing process and assembly process of CNC Machines. He has successfully completed training program on Quality for World class-‘TQM ROUTE’ From PHD Chamber of Commerce. He is also acting as Management representative of ISO 9001-2008
He has previously worked asDesign Engineer in CAD/CAMin Central Tool Room Training center(An Indo –Danish Project, govt. of India, Ministry of industry) BBSR and later as Sr.Engineer in CAD/CAM (Management Level- E10) in Samtech Info Net Ltd, New Delhi ( An ISO 9001:2000 certified company has head office at Antarctica). He also worked as Sr. Design Engineer (CAD/CAM) at GNA Axles Ltd. Mehtiana (TS and ISO Certified Company which is largest integrated design and manufacturing industry in ASIA). He also worked as Asstt. General Manager (CAD/CAM) in GNA Gears formerly known as GNA Duraparts Ltd. (An ISO 9001:2014, TS 16946 certified Gear manufacturing company in India)
He has conducted CAD training for expired govt. professionals of G.T.T.C. Bangalore & Mysore, C.T.T.C. Jamshedpur & Bhubaneshwar. He is a member of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Additive Manufacturing Society of India (AMSI). He provided technical consultancy on RPT (3D Printer) for Havells India Pvt Ltd, Fine Switches, Abhishek Safety Ltd., Gilard Electronics and RV Industry,Mahindra Die Casting Pvt. Ltd and SS Power System.He has also handled many International & National Industrial projects for Kimura Chuzosho Co. Ltd. in Japan and many automobile projects for Maruti, Hero Honda, Sunbeam Casting, Super Electrex, Super Autos, Mitaso Appliance, Krishna Maruti Ltd and many more.
He attended faculty development & learning mission to Industry Bridging the gap between Industry Academia from Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) and visited various manufacturing industries which include Mahindra and Mahindra, John Deere, Volkswagen, Godrej Motors and various others to understand about the current industrial scenario and the potential skills required by Modern industries from the fresh engineers.
He attended the PTC education VIP submit at Aachen University Germany. During the Submit he presented views over the application of future Technologies such as Argument Reality, Virtual Reality and IoT in Automation and Robotics System. He learned Critical input to student for strengthens their knowledge base according to industrial revolution 4.0 at European 4.0 Transformation Center.As a vision for the future, he aims to amalgamate the industrial automation standards of speed and precision into the programs on offer.
