The bachelors’ in Hotel management and catering technology (BHMCT) is an undergraduate program of four years’ duration and is divided into eight semesters. The program is planned to provide understanding about key departments of hotel industry during first three years of the study. The fourth year of the degree program is aimed to train students in one specialized area of hotel operation of their choice.

The program is a combination of academic expertise and hands-on practical training through our impressive industry reach to prepare professionals for the global hotel industry. The students also get an opportunity to learn from industry experts though in-campus seminars, workshops and off-campus industrial visits.

The multi-disciplinary program is designed to develop an advanced level of understanding about operations and management of hotel businesses through inculcating teamwork, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, managerial skills and leadership capabilities enabling them to be a successful future leader of hospitality world.

Our state-of-art infrastructure allows students apply theory into practice and the curriculum design of the program further provides opportunities to undertake two industrial internships, with one is chosen specialized department, in the most prestigious hotels organizations in India as well as around the globe such as Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Dubai, Mauritius etc.

  • The course will develop the concepts and application of managerial, financial, computer and technical skills that are needed to be successful within the hospitality industry.

  • The program will make students industry ready for entry level management positions with a specific focus on individual, social and environmental perspectives.
  • The course will facilitate the student to practice and exhibit in depth industry integrated operational knowledge, technical skills regarding front office, housekeeping, F&B service and Food production.
