B. Tech. Mechanical and Automation
GNA has a rich legacy of over 70 years in the implementation of mechanical and production manufacturing technology in the companies. Over the years, we have been through a lot of transformation in terms of new technology implementation in production works. But the lack of skilled manpower is a problem faced by all industries which needed to be dealt with foremost concern. Keeping this in mind, with extensive consultation with the industrial leaders, we have developed numerous programs in our university that are precisely focused on preparing a student for new challenges posed by industries. We specialise in technology related to CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM, FDM, additive manufacturing and civil CAD. These technologies are embedded in the B. Tech. Mechanical and Automation Engineering.

Technology is changing day by day and the processes are not the same as they have been a few years back. We work in close collaboration with PTC Inc. USA, Dassault System France, Stratasys USA, Siemens PLM USA, Festo Germany etc which keeps us updated with latest technology. The products of these companies are used for design and development in Multi-National Companies which are engaged in manufacturing and automation.  Autodesk exam id conducted at the Authorised Testing Centre of Certiport in GNA University. GNA university is supported by GNA Group which is having legacy of seven decades.   Visionaries of GNA University keep the students abreast with the most advance technology and automation systems which is in use for production. Students gets the opportunity to get training on most advanced machinery. The projects are used as an opportunity to groom the skills of students so that they understand the basic industrial requirements. The projects remain under strict supervision and so both the students as well as the industries benefit from this initiative.

Focus of B. Tech. in Mechanical and Automation Engineering is mainly on advanced mechanical techniques, design and development of the products and their manufacturing. This program offers the study of Concepts of Engineering Design as well as practical learning on Advanced Manufacturing Systems, Additive Manufacturing, Reverse Engineering, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Jigs Fixture & Tool Design, and Design with Materials, Failure Analysis and Finite Element Analysis. Use of advanced CAD/CAM/CAE Systems, latest Manufacturing Simulation Systems, RPT Technology, Automated Machines, Control Systems and Information Technologies helps the students to grab the knowledge on robust technology at the early stage of their learning.
