Guest Lecture on “Introduction to PV Solar System

The Department of Mechanical Engineering of Faculty of Engineering and Technology, GNA University organized a guest lecture on the topic “Introduction to PV Solar System, and it's applications” Dr. Akhil Gupta, Assistant Professor, IKGPTU, Batala Campus. Dr. In his lecture, students were made aware of the role of solar energy as a renewable resource. He also told about the world most massive solar project that running in state Andra Pradesh and that's the leading state in solar energy in which 20% energy is produced by solar power. Dr. Gupta motivates the students by his personal experiences and represents some his research reports in which he concluded that  60% solar energy is generated from solar parks and 40% from solar roof system and 75000-megawatt energy is produced by solar power in 2018. For freshers, who are seeking jobs in this field, he encouraged them by exploring various aspects of the solar PVs.


 
Dr. Vikrant Sharma  (Professor and Associate Dean F.E.T.) & Dr. Anuranjan Sharda,  florally welcomed the guest. Dr. V.K. Rattan (Vice Chancellor GNA University) appreciated the efforts of the faculty & motivated them to conduct such kind of activities in future also.
