About ICOHOST

International Conference on Hospitality & Tourism (ICOHOST) was initiated by Faculty of Hospitality in the year 2016 with the aim to enrich research in the field of Hospitality and Tourism. The one-day International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism under the theme ‘Contemporary Practices Trends and Innovations in Hospitality and Tourism’ was organised on November 12, 2016. Souvenir and Book were released on this occasion. 115 delegates and 15 resource persons attended the conference, and a total 30 research papers were presented during 3 technical sessions.

The Second ICOHOST was organized in association with ITHC (Indian Tourism and Hospitality Congress on 27th April 2019 with the theme ‘Advancements in Hospitality and Tourism Industry: A way Ahead’. A total of 118 Abstracts were received and 72 research papers were presented in four technical sessions at the conference while 61 papers were published in UGC approved Journal.

The Third International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism (ICOHOST 2020) “Hospitality and Tourism Industry: A Better Future for All” over a virtual platform on 7th November 2021. A total of 158 Abstracts were received and 82 research papers were presented in four technical sessions at the conference while 57 papers were published in UGC approved Journal.

The Fourth International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism (ICOHOST 2021) was organized on 27th November, 2021 on Hybrid mode on theme 'Hospitality & Technology: Collaborating for Synchronised Growth'. A total of 53 Abstracts were received and 42 research papers were presented in two technical sessions at the conference While Conference Proceedings was published.

In continuation to this, we are now organizing our fifth International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism (ICOHOST 2023). The following are details related to ICOHOST 2023.

Submission Rules & Publication

Author(s) should submit their original unpublished work in the prescribed format to ICOHOST 2023. All the accepted research papers will be published)in SCOPUS/ Web of Science/ UGC Care Indexed Journals at an additional cost. Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferences/journals) are not allowed.

Publication charges will be emailed separately as per the acceptance after peer-reviewed.

Guidelines to Authors

Instructions to Author:

The ICOHOST 2023 conference accepts unpublished, innovative and original research outcomes In English only. All the manuscripts are subject to be review by the reviewer and/or editorial Board.

It is highly recommended that the manuscript must have a proofreading before submission i.e. grammar and spelling check. The discrepancy in the same may result in delay or rejection of the manuscript.

Note: The Editorial Board considers any concern rose against any article in process or published and shall take appropriate actions if any misconduct is being found.

Manuscript Preparation

File Format: The manuscript should be in the English language using MS Word. The formatting of the text should be in two columns on each page in Times New Roman, font size 11 with 1.5 spacing. There should be a 2cm margin on all sides of the page. Additionally, equations, tables, figures and graphs (Color/B & W) must be electronically embedded within the text of the document.

Running Title: The title should be brief and informative. It should be on the top of the paper, Times New Roman, bold, 16 points, Title Case.

Author Names: First name, last name, corresponding author (must be marked with *), Times New Roman, 14 points, Title Case.

Affiliation(s): Institutional address (es) Times New Roman, bold, 12 points, Title Case. Affiliation and E-mail of the corresponding author: Institutional address of the corresponding author, Times New Roman, bold, 12 points, Title Case.

Word limit: Manuscript should not exceed 3000 words. (Research and Technical Notes should be of 1000 words)

The title should not exceed ~15 words

The abstract must be of 200-300 words and should have 5-6 key words.

Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion or Results, and Discussion,

Acknowledgements, References Figure, and Tables should be appropriately included in the text and should be numbered.

The figures and tables should be accompanied with an appropriate caption and should be separately numbered in Arabic numerals.

Citation/Referencing must be done judicially failing to which the article will be rejected and authors shall be blacklisted from participation in the future. The authors must ensure that every reference cited in the manuscript should be mentioned in the reference list and vice versa. Citations in the text should contain only authors' names and year of publication (Author, Year) [e.g. (Buhalis, 2005), (Morrison and Lesiker, 2008) or (Kotler et al., 2007) when three or more authors].

Bibliographical References should be listed at the end of the manuscript in alphabetic order using APA style.

All the pages should be numbered consecutively.


Publishing Ethics:

Author/s is/are expected to present original work for the publication.
Author/s is/are expected to check their manuscript for the plagiarism using reliable software. The manuscripts with 15% plagiarism or lower will be accepted for the publication.
