Dr. Yogesh Bhalla carried out his postgraduate studies (M.Sc. Mathematics) from Guru Nanak Dev University in year 2006. He further completed his Master’s in Philosophy in Mathematics in 2009. His research interest is in the field of Differential equations, Complex Analysis, Statistics, etc. He has instructed several courses at graduate and post graduate level which include Calculus, Advance Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Algebra, Numerical Analysis. He has an experience of over 16 years. He Joined GNA University as an Assistant Professor in July 2016 and currently heading two departments (School of Natural Sciences & School of Allied & Healthcare Sciences). He is an Innovation Ambassador for GU- Institute Innovation council under Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Government of India.

He has been involved in efforts to make mathematics education at faculty level more interesting and fulfilling through special topics, projects, and bridging the relation of Mathematical Sciences with other disciplines.

He was awarded Education Excellence with Gold Medal by Honourable Shri Harish Rawat (Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand) in February 2020. He has attended several workshops, FDPs, conferences, etc.
