Guest lecture“Digital Transformation in Travel agency”
07-02-2018Faculty of Hospitality, GNA University organised a guest lecture for the students of Bachelor of Science (Airlines Hospitality and Tourism) 2nd and 4th semester on the topic Digital Transformation in Travel agency. The resource person was by Ms. NatwalaiNiankhaw, CEO and Co Founder Smart Travel Global, Thailand.
Vice Chancellor Prof V.K Rattanand Mr. Varinder Singh Rana, Deputy Dean, FoH, GNA University welcomed her to the campus by presenting a bouquet.
Ms. Nainkhaw very tact fully explained the students about the metamorphosis that has taken place in the travel agency business and how the travellers and travel agents are getting benefitted. The change from traditional to online travel agency has created a win-win situation both the service providers and the tourist.
She organised a digital game in which the students have to write the experience about the guest lecture and post it on the face book wall of Ms. Nainkhaw. The best four experiences were awarded all inclusive free tour of Thailand for 5 days and 4 nights.
The guest lecture was coordinated by Mr. Shiv Raj, Ms.Shagun and Dr.Shashi Tiwari of faculty of Hospitality.
