World Water Day
22-03-2018Faculty of Engineering and Technology at GNA university celebrated World Water Day on 22nd March 2018 and spread awareness on Nature for Water at GNA university,Phagwara.Speakers of the celebration was Mr.Amritpal Singh(Resource Person at AIR, FM Gold & Doordarshan & Author of various books) and is having more than 17 year.experience of teaching invarious institutions. The participants of the celebrations were the students of GNA University.
The program started with welcome speech for the guest sandre marks of Dr.Vikrant Sharma(Dean Faculty of engineering and Technology,GNA university).Following this Mr.Amritpal Singh gave the presentations.The participants were made aware about the newstandards,specific change requirement sand implementation tips for improving quality of water.This awareness training course gave the participants an in-depth understanding on the changes from old waste water treatment system to latest techniques of waste water treatment system.At industrial level,benefits included Elimination/Reduction of wastage of water,Enhancement of quality of drinking water and improvement of product and company brand for portable drinking water suppliers.
Following this,the speaker gives a speech over the current availability and future aspects and availability of water.Helime-lighted the near future of Punjab as a state which is facing the problem of water scarcity.
In the end chief guest distributed the certificates to the winners of collage making competition which was organised on the theme of Nature for water
