Professional Advice to remember!

The Faculty of Engineering, Design and Automation of GNA University organized a seminar on North America design and development processes by Mr. Navdeep (P. Eng.), Sr. Design Engineer, Litens Automotive Partnership Canada and Founder of MechXs. As many as 150 students of B.Tech Mechanical & Automation Engineering, Post Diploma CAD/CAM attended the seminar.
The Seminar mainly focused on the mindset of an engineer and future of mechanical engineer. He discussed about the DFMEA, DVP&R, PFMEA, Control Plan, PRAP, PPAP and 8D.  Mr. Navdeep shared his views about the North American design and development tools. He briefly explained the Fishbone diagram, Is is not analysis, 5 whys analysis, Contactless measurement and SPC.
Interacting with the students Mr. Navdeep surprised to know that students already have vast knowledge on Design & Development along with knowledge of Automation Control Systems. He applauds university's efforts and congratulated S. Gurdeep Singh Sihra, CEO - GNA Gears and Pro Chancellor- GNA University and Mr. C.R.Tripathy Dean Faculty of Design & Innovation CAD/CAM, for providing Industry Oriented blended academic curriculum to the budding engineers.
