GUEST LECTURE ON

GNA Business School had organized a guest lecture for MBA-1st & B.Com V students on the topic "Enhancing Employability" with consent of Hon'ble Chancellor "S. Gursaran Singh", Pro Chancellor "S. Gurdeep Singh" and Vice Chancellor "Dr. V.K. Ratan" on November 08, 2019. The lecture was delivered by Dr. A.K. Sahijpal, who is Founder Director at University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, Punjab University, Chandigarh. He also served Baddi University, Solan (HP) as a Vice Chancellor. He also served as ex- director at State Bank of Patiala. Many GBS Faculty members had attended that enlightening and knowledgeable session. Dr. Sahijpal has provided valuable information to students about the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) Civil Services Exams and guided them to give that exam. Then he shared his valuable experiences and clear the need and benefits of these exams with the help of various examples.
He apprised about the criteria and syllabus of these exams such as-IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, IA&AS, IPoS, IRAS. It was an engaging and well-informed session for GNA Business School Students which gave them an opportunity to gain ken about these exams and enhance their competencies &  skills. The students participated very actively in the session and cleared their doubts. He also listened to views and opinions of students. At the culmination of the session, Management of GNA extended special thanks to worthy guest speaker for his presence and sharing valuable experiences with GBS Students.
