GNA University Faculty of Design and Innovation organized Guest Lecture on Sheet metal works in modern Industry by Mr. Vikas Ghai Managing Director GVK Metal Forms Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Vikas has more than 28 years in the field of CNC machine tools for manufacturing of Sheet metal components. GVK Metal forms deals in sheet metal fabrication related machinery and tooling. Working with world renowned manufactures, their focus has always been to provide user friendly solutions for all metal forming needs.
The session starts with Mr. C.R. Tripathy Dean Faculty of Design and Innovation highlighted the importance of Sheet Metal works in Industry revolution 4.0
The Guest lecture was followed by interactive session in which students as well as faculty members had a question answer session with the Mr. Ghai. They discussed the various sheet metal forming processes in detail with their industrial applications. The whole process included in the forming is done with videos of the industries. They also explained the career prospectus of the sheet metal industry like aerospace, shipyard, automobile, hotel management, Medical and many more. They impressed with the queries of the students and appreciated the efforts of GNA Facuty of Design and innovation in bridging the gap between academic and industry.
The Guest Lecture was ended with a vote of thanks from Mr. C.R.Triapthy with the whole event is compeered by Mr. Prince Kumar program coordinator. The students of B.Tech Mechanical and Automation attend the lecture.
