08-05-2023GNA University- Department of Civil Engineering, organized a Guest Lecture on “Effect of Wind load on Buildings” for the students of Diploma Civil Technology, B. Tech and M. Tech Civil Engineering.
Dr. Neelam Rani (Guest speaker from NIT Jalandhar) delivered a session about impact of wind load on building and design of low rise and high-rise structures in the aspect of wind loading.
The speaker covered various methods used to calculate wind loads on structures, including analytical methods, wind tunnel testing, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
