Industrial Visit to Dainik Bhaskar

As a good start to the Academic Session 2017-18, a visit for the students of Faculty of Liberal Arts was arranged an industrial visit to the printing press of Dainik Bhaskar in Subhanpur (near Kartarpur) on August 11, 2017 where they learnt about the nuances of print media. Knowing about the complete procedure of printing newspapers was an amazing experience for the students as they were never aware of such minute details about print media. This visit also updated their knowledge about the job opportunities in the field of print media. 44 students from BA Honours in English Semester I, BA Honours School in English semester III and BA Honours in History semester V accompanied by Ms. Kamini Verma and me updated themselves during this visit.
