Visit to Prabhakar Wax Museum and Maharaja Ranjit Singh museum
11-04-2018 Faculty of film, television and media arrange a visit for students of B.Sc. AM 2, M.Sc. AM2 and CPAM 2 to Prabhakar Wax Museum and Maharaja Ranjit Singh museum in Ludhiana. The founder of the wax museum Mr. Prabhakar at the age of 58 took inspiration of London situated Madame Tussaud museum, where all the celebrities wax statue established. This museum completed 7 years now.
The process to make one statue fulfilled is 4 months. Students enjoyed and interact with the founder and discuss many things on creative field like clay modeling, photography.
The second visit is a few steps away from wax museum is Maharaja Ranjit Singh museum which is established in the memory and to give privileged & honor to the great martyrs of kargil war. Lots of weapons which is used in war like bullet guns, knives, safety shields, tanks, swords and many more stuff is exhibited in the museum.
The main attraction of museum is army officer’s uniform and 3D short movie which enhances the interest of visitors. Thus, it is a remarkable trip for the students.
