GNA University recently visited Connect Broadband,Jalandhar
25-09-2018 Imparting the knowledge about latest trends, Students of Faculty of Engineering and Technology, GNA University recently visited Connect Broadband,Jalandhar. A well established enterprise in the field of communication, Connect broadband is the first private operator in Punjab Telecom circle. A technical session by Mr.Sartaj and his team on the power generation and transmission was conducted for the students.
During this session students came to know about Signaling protocol SS7 being used during the call connectivity and Juniper routers installed and being used by the top leading service providers in India for data connectivity. Also, students came to know about the functioning of power generation system and battery banks of the industry for continuous power supply required for the transmission.
