Tapping INDUSTRY knowledge to add frame above curriculum bound peers

A highly informative Industrial Visit was organized by GNA University with prime objective to make students get deep insights into the process involved in manufacturing industry, to Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala which is a coach manufacturing unit of Indian Railways.
RCF is equipped with a state-of-the-art CAD centre and CNC machines to undertake design and manufacture of boogies, shells (both with stainless steel and corten steel) Students got exposure on Laser Cut & Plasma Cut used to cut the raw material, BiW Jig & Fixture line, MIG welding, train wheel profiling on wheel lathe in turning section, Paint Section,Varnishing Section for the finishing of the coaches.
