Dr. Disha Khanna

Dr. Disha Khanna, hailing from India, is a Doctorate in Afro-American literature. She is an NLP Basic Practitioner, counselor, healer, soft skills trainer, translator, die hard researcher, content writer, blogger, international poet and an author of NCERT Primary books in English and Science. Currently, she is working as a Deputy Dean in the School of Liberal Arts at GNA University. She is also the Dean Students’ Welfare. She is thrice the recipient of the ‘Best Researcher Award’ in the field of Social Sciences.

She has an established name in the field of Language and Literature. As a Team leader, she is very articulate in disseminating her knowledge among her team mates and young aspirants.She possesses outstanding leadership skills and team spirit. She has the knack of playing with words and pours out her heart in ink in the most stupendous way. The anthology entitled ‘And Hence the Phoenix Rose’ is an outstanding example of her poetic creative endeavour. Dr. Disha revers this anthology as every verse in this contains her unsaid story of pain, suffering, spiritualistic connect, success, love and extreme optimism that would otherwise have been suppressed in her thought factory.
She had been the only 4th Indian who participated in 24 hours at a stretch ‘Poetry Marathon’ across the globe and got her 24 poems published in 2 days at an International forum.Under her pioneering leadership, the School of Liberal Arts at the University established Words Worth Language Lab for active dissemination of LSRW skills among the students. She got the MoU signed with Cambridge University Press for the Empower Program and is the Certified Train the Trainer for Cambridge English Empower. She has been throughout an MOC in conducting Punjab Literary Festival and many other literary and cultural events at National and International level.
Dr. Disha has more than 17 years of teaching experience and is an ardent acquirer of new skills, and has to her bounty 30+ online certifications in the field of Liberal Arts from ‘Open2Study’, ‘Harvard University’ and ‘Cambridge University’. She is a freelancer and does the content writing for companies across the globe.
Till date, she has been bestowed with “Certificate of Merit” for the contribution towards social service “Certificate of Effort’ by ‘Help age India’ for creating awareness and providing relief to the needy aged. She had been the leading cadet in the march past parade and the best player of Badminton and Throw Ball. Dr. Disha also had the Press Release of the Hindi novel translated into English “World Beyond the Motherland” and token of appreciation by the former Prime Minister of India Mr. I K Gujral. She has been honoured with a token of appreciation for M. Phil dissertation to be fit for publication by Cabinet Minister of Punjab Government, Laxmi Kant Chawla and conferred with the title of the best Comparer in the “International Symposium on Nano-structured Materials’ in KMV- the Heritage Institution. She has also grabbed Certificate of Appreciation as a ‘Top Performing Mentor Jan-Jun 2018’ from NPTEL in ‘Enhancing Soft Skills & Personality’. Dr. Disha even received Certificate of Recognition from JCI in “Effective Public Speaking Course” and in “Speechcraft”.
